1927 Indian Chief paint project
1927 Indian Chief Work in progress
1927 Indian, we did all the sheetmetal work to, it was very very rough to start with. It's show quality now.
Gastank installed in the frame someone else had painted the fenders, and they did not fit the motorcycle, this is the the rear fender before I fit it, and sandblasted off someone elses paint.
The bike mocked up, including the tool box and battery box, when I got it, the battery box could not be installed because the fender was so far forward it did not fit.
left side of bike mocked up if everything isn't fit and bolted up tight before paint is applied, you can be sure the paint will be scratched. This takes more time, but saves headaches and scratches for the final assembly.
Another shot in progress there is a quarter inch between the battery box and the fender, even new, these were very tight fits.
Frame ready for paint.
Frame painted red. Gas Tank Finished
